The Hassop ponds are situated in the quiet seclusion of Hassop estate and offer anglers the opportunity to fish two traditional estate ponds stocked with Tench, Bream, Roach, Rudd, Crucians, Perch, Chub and Pike.

In size the ponds are approx one acre (top pond) and half to threequarters acre (bottom pond).

Additional Bream, Roach, Rudd and Chub were stocked in March 2017 with further bream and chub in Nov.‘21

Fishing  access is usually available from 15th May through to 14th March

Hassop Weather

As part of a reciprocal agreement with another long established Sheffield club members also have access to a section of the tidal Trent upstream of Sutton towards Carlton on Trent.

As well as providing a superb Barbel fishery other species at Sutton  include Chub to 7lbs, Bream approaching double figures and Carp to 30lb. Big Pike, large Perch and specimen Roach are also there to be caught.
